You can create your own email accounts on our hosting servers. You can read your email via the webmail or your email program on your PC, laptop or mobile.
If you have trouble figuring this out, we offer remote assistance.

• We will take you step-by-step through all the settings in your email program to how the should be able to send and receive your mail.

We think it is important that your website runs in a safe and up-to-date environment. This is why we are constantly building new platforms with the latest software and the latest features. To make the best use of websites built it is recommended to use the latest versions of PHP and MariaDB (MySQL).
To encourage this, we move your account free of charge to the newest environment.

• We make a backup of your account on the current environment and place it on the new one.
• We check whether your website is visible in the new environment.
  Sometimes, for example with a newer version of PHP, something needs to be changed in the code. If this is the case, we will contact you so that you or your website builder can look at this. In 98% of cases, the site simply looks like it is intended.
• We apply the DNS change and refer your website to the new environment.
• When everything is ready you will receive a new welcome email from us with the login details of the new environment. The passwords of your email accounts and / or databases remain unchanged.
• You check whether it is necessary to adjust the incoming and outgoing mail server in your email program. We can also offer Comprehensive Support for this.

If you move your domain to us, it makes sense that you'll also move the hosting. Is moving your site just too technical or do you simply have no time for it? We are happy to do it for you.

This is what you can expect from us:

• Before we move your domain, we make a copy of your website, including databases, in its current environment. If applicable, we can also include your email addresses.
• We place this copy on our latest environment and check whether your site looks the same from the new location.
  Sometimes, for example with a newer version of PHP, something needs to be changed in the code. If this is the case, we will contact you so that you or your website builder can look at this.
• We will re-create the desired email accounts for you and the content will be moved, if applicable.
  We create these with random passwords, we recommend that you change them yourself if everything is up and running.
• When everything is ready we will move your domain and let it refer to the new location.
• You will receive a welcome email from us with the login details of your new hosting package.
• Once the move has been completed, you have 2 working days to confirm that everything has gone according to your wishes.
• You check whether it is necessary to adjust the incoming and outgoing mail server in your email program. We can also offer Comprehensive Support for this.

• The domain name you want to move with the corresponding authorization code.
• The type of hosting account you wish to purchase.
• The login details of your hosting account from your current provider.
